Product description
The EVB90371 contains a single MLX90371 IC mounted in the middle of a 25mm x 35mm PCB.
The board includes mounting holes for installation into a system and a series of holes on a standard 2.54mm (0.100”) pitch allowing for connection to the MLX90371 IC via flying leads or a pin header.
The necessary passive components are included to allow for interfacing via an analog voltage signal.
Important: the products used on the EVB's are pre-programmed and memory locked at the factory. Therefore they cannot be reprogrammed. If it is desired to reprogram the IC's with the PTC-04 programmer then the pre-programmed part must be swapped with a blank (default) IC.
Development kit:
The development kit for magnetic sensors (or interface board) provides an easy way to connect the Melexis evaluation boards to various magnetic pieces like a knob. Additionally, the interface provides pin-outs to add an external LCD and Arduino or Mbed development board.
